Pastor Is Charged In Rape of Teenager

The pastor of a Queens church was arrested Friday and charged with rape after a police officer saw him having sex in his parked car with a 16-year-old girl who attends his church, the authorities said yesterday.
The girl, whose name was withheld by the police because of the nature of the crime, told detectives that she had had sex with the pastor a number of times in the last year and a half, the police said.
The pastor, Eliseo Ottey, 46, of Lindenwood, Queens, was charged with third-degree rape, a felony.
A police officer from the 111th Precinct was patrolling in the Hollis Hill section Friday when he saw Mr. Ottey in his car with the girl.
The pastor was parked a short drive away from his church, the Pentecostal Ebenezer Church on Jamaica Avenue, the police said.
Efforts to reach church officials yesterday by phone were unsuccessful.
